Chomp! Chomp!! Chomp!!!

Chello followers and family darkness lurkers!

It's been awhile since my last post. Forgive me. We had celebrating and mourning to do this week.

We celebrated the Yankees 27th World Championship title (thanks to Keelyn, of course), and mourned the Hawkeyes' first loss. Sean thought that Keelyn was the good luck charm for them... thought they were going to go undefeated. It was very sad.

Let's do a brief recap of this past weekend & week...

• Keelyn got to hang out with Grandma Sally last Saturday on the horrible Hawkeye game b/c I had to work at good ol' Jack Trice.
• Keelyn didn't nap so well this week (more to come soon!!)
• Sean made supper tonight... steak, baked potatoes, & garlic bread. Mmmmmm! Thanks honey!!!

Now... drum roll please... yet another first for Miss Keelyn....

She got her first tooth!!!!!

Yeppers, folks! Her first tooth. And we couldn't be more excited! Of course, I'm telling everyone my daughter is gifted (well, she is, ya know!) for getting a tooth so early. The teething itself didn't seem to be too bad. She sucked on her fingers more than usual, cried during her naps and didn't nap that well (remember, I said I'd get to it soon), but we have had no runny nose, no fever, no major slobbers, no diaper rash, no really bad diapers, and no extended amounts of crying or fussiness.

I've been trying for the past HOUR to get a picture of this lil' white miracle, but of course, Keelyn's got that sweet stubborn streak like her Mommy, so she's not letting me get a pic. But I promise, as soon as I can get one, you too will get to see her brand spankin' new chomper :).
