Birthday's...

Well folks, today was birthday #29 for me, and 11 month for Lovebug.  It really was a great day all around. 

It started with Lovebug wanting to spend a ton of extra time with me at midnight or so due to her teeth hurting her, so we got to snuggle together in the recliner for a few hours.

Then, I got to go to my last day of a three-day training called Capturing Kids' Hearts.  Not only did I learn how to capture kids' hearts, I learned that I have neglected the hearts of myself, my family, and my friends.  I vowed to become a better listener today, so check back with me on that in a few weeks.

Once the class was done, I rushed home to pick up two of my favorite girls... Lovebug and my mom.  We packed up the van and headed off to watch Coach do exactly that--coach his baseball team.  FINALLY!  This darned rain has rained out too many of his games!

Lovebug, Mom, and I all sat around and played, watched the game, and just relaxed.  We three ladies left the game a bit early since someone was crabby {and no, it wasn't me :)}  Lovebug got her bath, a bottle, and then some good ol' fashioned play time. 

As for Lovebug, I will do a separate post for her 11-month update.  I promise!  I know, I missed her 10 month update, so I better get the 11 one done.

Whew! I am one tired birthday girl, so I am headed to bed. 

Par-tay

We have had our share of graduation parties over the past few weeks, but today was the culmination of them.  Today, we celebrated Chaz.  Chaz is the oldest son of Holly, our favorite fill-in-Mommy daycare provider :).  Lovebug had a BLAST seeing all her peeps... Holly, Chaz, Trevor, Chuck, John, and of course, Virginia (Holly's mom).

As proof that we're alive that we had fun, here are some pics.

Sittin' Pretty

Lovebug has been quite the social butterfly these past few weeks as Coach and I have been invited to several graduation parties.  Here are a few glimpses at Lovebug sittin' pretty in the shade... this Mama couldn't handle the sun that day!!

I TOTALLY forgot to tell you all this (ya know, the 9 public and 5 or 6 behind-the-scene stalkers)...

Lovebug said Mama this weekend :) :) :)

Oh yes, it was perfect.  Standing in Factory Card Outlet picking out graduation cards (why pay full price at Target?) and she said Mama.  I shed a tear or two.  She said is sparatically over the weekend but full on said it this morning when I was leaving daycare.  "Mom".
