We've been experiencing some crib issues the last few days foslks, and it has not been fun. Sunday night Lovebug refused to go to sleep in her crib, instead she SCREAMED at the top of her lungs for Mama. Now, in the past, I let her cry it out. Girlfriend needs to sleep in her own bed. Daddy got her out because he could sense something just wasn't right. I ended up rocking her to sleep (which we haven't done since last summer). Once she was asleep, I took her upstairs and put her in her crib.
Fast forward a few hours, and up she was again. To the couch he went.
Tuesday night was a repeat..and also included not wanting to nap in the crib, either.
Fast forward to today...no nap in crib and 2 feet over the side. Tonight???? Yep, she fell out. She's asleep on the couch while I type this.
I have always, always said no kids in bed with us because I don't want her to get used to that. I know I'm doing the same thing with her sleeping on the couch...I just feel like it's maybe the slightest difference. Who am I kidding..either way, girlfriend needs to get back to her own bed.
So...tomorrow, we'll be changing the convertible crib into the toddler crib and Lord help us all because I have a feeling we're going to be in for a long rest of the summer at bedtime.
Now, if any of you out there in the blogosphere have gone through this already and have some success stories you'd love to share, please do!!!!
For now, I'm going to curl up on my end of the couch and wait for my 4am wake-up call. Sweet dreams...
