Today used to be my due date... until that fateful February day when the doctors told us we were having a girl and that the ultrasound was showing that we were right on the cusp of the 10 day margin of error.
You know what happened after that. They pushed the due date back to the 17th. So instead of thinking my baby girl was going to come around now, she'll be coming later. So I think. Daddy seems to think otherwise. Daddy continuously asks my belly "When are you coming to see me?" Hmmm.... is someone getting excited??? I think so :o)
So what better to do on my old due date that pamper myself. I'm off to get ready to get a pedicure (though I don't think the poor person who gets my feet will feel as good about it as I will). The tree trunks aren't looking so hot today :*(.
In OTHER news, I went to my wonderful students' Miracle League baseball game last night only to be interviewed by Chris Hassel from Channel 13 News. GREAT!!!!! There was an ultra embarrassing 3-5 second clip of me on the 10pm news last night, but the majority of the rest of my interview will be on the 10pm news tonight. I'm hoping the world gets very, very tired tonight and doesn't stay awake for it!
