Thoughtful Thursday

Here are some thoughts I've had so far today (or this week) that I thought I'd share with you all.

1. You KNOW it's going to be a good day when you flip through radio stations and hear Ace of Base's "I Saw the Sign" on your way to work. Ahhh... it takes me back to the days of middle school shop class, jammin' out to the best of the 90s.

2. Keelyn gave me her very own Mother's Day present... my first stretch mark. Leave it to my child to do something like that.

3. Educators use a lot of abbreviations for things... IEPs, FBA, BIP. Oh wait... that would be special educators. I don't feel any smarter knowing what those mean.

4. 4.27 minutes with an OB/GYN = hundreds of thousands of dollars in THEIR pockets... and none in mine. How is that fair?

5. People should not be allowed to throw cigarette butts out of their car window when someone is traveling behind them. I don't like getting cigarettes thrown at me. I don't find it very nice.

6. I wish that a shoe company would make beautiful looking shoes for pregnant women with

ugly, fat, nasty, swollen water retaining feet. It would make me feel much better.

7. My students' parents are not happy that I will not be starting the year next year. Although I feel badly for the students, it's nice to know when you are appreciated at your job.

That's what some of my thoughts have been this week. What have some of your thoughts been?

when i was preggo (FATTO) with Noah - i looked for pretty & comfortable shoes for my disgustingly swollen feet - i found a brand made by a podiatrist for $400+ and actually considered it for about 2 minutes - in the end i ended up in these super hot clog things that made me look . . . how do i say . . . like i was batting for the home team
