It's hard to believe that our little Lovebug is 19 months old today!! I'm happy to report that at the age of 19 months, Lovebug...
~talks nonstop! (with a few, ahem, naughty words she's picked up from Mama & Dada)
~talks nonstop about... you guessed it... poop! "mama poot, dada poot, Iya (Holly) poot, Edgar poot". We've gotta get this girl out in the world some more!
~eats like none other!
~has transitioned from high chair to booster seat :(.
~runs all over the place
~touches her hair when asked "where's your pretty?"
~loves to take baths... but hates to get her face wet
~has to wear some of Mama's smellies when she sees Mama put it on
~knows when we turn onto our street... and starts yelling "Dada!!"
~hams it up whenever anyone stops by to visit... as they're getting ready to leave
~has NO little brother or sister coming soon (contrary to the questions we receive from lots of people)
~HATED when she had to come in from playing outside (ya know, last week when it was nice... not now that we're going to get more snow)
~has 1 week *knock on wood* left to wear her arm brace
~eats 1/2 of Dada's toaster strudle or cinnamon roll in the morning before going to daycare... but won't eat her own
~hates to drink milk at home, but loves to drink it at Holly's
~has a new found passion for string cheese
~hates to ride in a cart or stroller. Nope. This girl has to walk... EVERYWHERE!!
~is turning into the world's biggest Daddy's Girl (which, I have to say, is probably the sweetest, cutest, greatest thing I've ever seen)
~loves to pretend talk on any cell phone
~has learned how to turn my cell phone on & off, unlock it, and scroll through pictures. Texting will soon come, I'm sure.
~sees a sporting event on TV and immediately yells "Hawkeyes!!"
I don't have any pictures to share with you (I know... that's what you all want) tonight, but I will work on that within the next day.
Tomorrow, Lovebug and I head back to Grandma Sally & Grandpa Dale's for a little R&R, another haircut for curly (wait that's both of us... Curly #2), and to watch Grandma Sally's middle school musical. Let's see if Lovebug can put her dance moves from Back in Black to some middle schoolers livin' it up oldies style.
As for now, Lovebug and Coach are both sawing logs and I am finally starting to get feeling back in my mouth. I had a dentist appointment tonight to fill 2 cavities (of which were not my fault... they were deemed as developmental... which is now why kiddos get sealants) and the dentist had to give me 4 shots of novacaine!! I know, right?!? One of the {many} pains of being a redhead... it takes 2-3 times the amount of meds to numb me. Dr. T said it would be gone in a couple of hours. It's literally 6 hours later and there are still numb spots. The worst part? It still hurt during the work, but I couldn't handle any more shots. I loathe shots.
Well there you have it. 19 months and more :).
