11 Month Update

Hard to believe it, but Lovebug is 11 months (and, ahem, 1 week and two days) old now.  I know how hokey this sounds, but seriously, where in the world did these past 11 months, one week and two days go!?!??!?!?

Here's a little update on Lovebug.  Unless you are immediate family, you may get bored with the rest of this post.  Sorry :(

Teeth Facts:  We're still rockin' the four teeth (two on top, two on bottom).  She has some holes in her mouth where you can see that more teeth are trying to come through, but why do that when that would mean that you could no longer whine, cry, bite your Mommy and get away with it?

Eating Facts:  Lovebug loves to eat... still.  I know, shocker, right?  Nothin' like her Mama, oh no :).  Ha!  I wish!!  Lovebug has hated that oh-so-gross paste-looking cereal for quite some time now, so we start the day with some yumm-o fruit, then she has either a piece of toast or 1/2 a waffle.  This followed by a 4 ounce bottle.  Between 10:30-11:30 we nosh down on lunch.  This varies from a veggie & fruit (yes, still baby food) or a stage 3 dinner & fruit (again, baby food).  Once she downs this, she then gets the real stuff... whether it be 1/2 chicken pattie, chicken nugget, 1/4 meat & cheese sami.  A tasty 6-ounce bottle follows this.  A snack will usually come later.. this could be crackers, cheese, or some of those Gerber Graduate snack things, with her favorite being the maple syrup & brown sugar ones.  Supper is the same as lunch, and another 6-ounce bottle before bed.  Lovebug LOVES herself some cheese (side note: cheese does not stop her body from digesting food, if you catch my drift), and HATES fruit & veggies unless they are in puree form.  We try nearly every day to get her to eat the real stuff... we'll see who wins on this one.

Sleeping Facts:  Lovebug has decided that, now that it's summer vaca, she would rather skip the morning nap, and only take an hour long nap in the afternoon.  Plus, she goes to bed around 8:00-9:00pm.  Why sleep when you can spend more time with Mama & Dada, right?!??!

Speaking Facts:  Lovebug says:  Dada (which by the way, she doesn't say all that often), Mama (gotta love it... she says it all.the.time now!), Grandma (thanks to Grandma Sally for teaching her that), buh-buh (bye-bye), BoBo (Bogart), bfo (phone), ooooo (when she sees ANYTHING!!)

Gross Motor Facts: Lovebug is crawling all.over.the.place at a pretty fast speed.  She pulls herself up and will walk alongside things. She la la la LOVES to hold onto Coach's or my fingers and walk around.  She has figured out how to climb up on our step stool, fireplace hearth and her little Dora chair and sit.  She makes the cuh-UTEST "uh-uh-uh" sound while doing it.  She loves to pull herself up and hang on our gate.  Pretty much, she's all over the place.  Oh, she also likes to throw her baseballs and roll her red ball, too.

Favorite Song Facts:  If you even begin to say anything with the words Patty or Cake, you are gonna see this girl fuh-REAK out and start rollin' her hands like none other!

Other Fun Facts:  She throws the best kisses, gives the best kisses, likes to play with a random girl scout cookies box (yes, I still had one in the freezer!), can get LOST in a book or her Legos, loves when you hold her upside down, has the cutest heart-melting giggle, claps for Daddy's baseball team at all their games, is learning how to make our rocking chairs rock, hates water on her face during bathtime at the same time, splashes like none other, gets mad when you eat in front of her (even if you are a complete stranger in a restaurant--she will let you know!), likes to pretend to drink pop from a bottle or can, has this weird obcession with holding something while she's being fed her babyfood, shows her strong distaste for you if you won't let her hold your cell phone while you're talking on it, loves her stroller rides, and is by far, the most loved girl in the entire world!!!!!

As far as a picture goes, my camera is dead and at this moment in time, is also MIA.  More to come on that in my next post.
