Saturday was full of, well, the deep clean! Laundry, scrubbing counters, laundry, edging the carpet & linolium, laundry, some organizing, laundry, disinfecting bathrooms, laundry, sprucing up the deck, laundry, organizing Lovebug's toys, and wait for it... more laundry! It also included me making this...
Can you guess why? That's right! It was Coach's birthday weekend. I say weekend because the real day isn't until tomorrow, but when you are 3 tens and 7 ones, you need a weekend because you can't handle all the excitement in just one day (BAHAAA!!! Sorry, that's my running joke with Coach).
Back to it. Yeppers, Coach's birthday weekend extravaganza. We had his family over to celebrate which meant Mama was in party planning mode. Food prep, cleaning, and baking the hubs his new favorite goodies & cream cake, courtesy of Caked Goods (don't ya wish YOU had a baker in the family like me).

The party was super fun! Even when I was 3/4 of the way finished grilling the burgers and whoops, the tank ran out of gas. Nobody seemed to mind too much... at least, not that they told me :). While I was giving Lovebug her Saturday night bath, the camera was brought out and some family pics were taken.

Once Lovebug was done with her bath, she just HAD to have her picture taken, too. Thanks to Grandpa Larry for posing with her :)
As far as today goes, Coach hit the links while Lovebug and I relaxed. I should have finished a few more things that I missed yesterday, but I decided that being the A.D. (you guessed 'er peeps....my new blogging nickname is the A.D. Athletic Director to those of you who don't speak sports lingo), I had the authority to sit back and do nothing.
And here we are. 9:53pm and I'm ready to go to bed. Hope you all had a great weekend, too.
