**Side note: Our nurse lays Keelyn on the paper, stretches her foot out and makes a mark with her pen at the end of it, then makes a mark on the paper around her head. This is her way of measuring. At the end of the appointment I tore the paper off the bench. Am I weird? No. Sentimental? Yes.
We had LOTS of fun taking pictures, playing, and talking when the nurse left.
and Love is all I have for her.
The doc came in then and said he was VERY impressed with her head control. That's right Keelyn, kiss your brain :). We go back on December 8th for her 4 month well-check where he said we'd start talking cereal and baby food. Holy cow! She's growing so fast!!!
Next came the dreaded shots :(. 3 in all... 2 in the left leg and one in the right, plus the not-so-tasty rotavirus vaccine that she got to drink.
To help calm her down, I gave her a bottle and she went to sleep as soon as we got in the van. Luckily, she is still *knock on wood* sleeping.
Notice... her face is still red from her screaming and crying. Poor peanut :*(
Pretty sure that watching my daughter cry in pain is more painful that labor. Ugh... and to think I have to watch her go through that again, and again, and again?
